Welcome to the 18th International Specialized Pharmaceutical Exhibition Apteka 2011 and the Medical & Pharmaceutical Business Forum!

«Apteka» is an informative exhibit space to share experience, establish contacts, discuss current issues and form a consolidated position within the pharmaceutical professional community.

The Russian Association of Pharmacy Chains (RAPC) is the first non-profit organization which since 2003 has been consolidating the interests of pharmacy chains. RAPC is an active participant of Medical & Pharmaceutical Business Forum, it promotes the formation and development of a civilized, transparent and effective pharmaceutical market.

Among its achievements, RAPC is especially proud of maintaining the single tax on imputed income for Russian pharmacies for 2009–2010, which helped to stabilize the prices for medicines. Through the active participation of RAPC aimed at reducing the rates of insurance premiums, pharmacy businesses expect reduced rates to come into force from 2012. RAPC also initiated the amendments, prior to its entry into force, to the Federal Law FL-61 «On Circulation of Medicines» which allowed pharmacies to stock cosmetics and perfumery products within their ranges from 1st September 2010. RAPC supports and develops mechanisms of accessibility to the pharmaceutical aid for all social groups. We advocate the expansion of pharmacy range, promoting illness prevention and healthy lifestyles, including healthy eating habits, and we believe that this line is a priority for improving the quality of life for our citizens.
